    I was back in my hometown and decided to stop in Mac's Deli & Catering. It brought back many memories of years gone by. The small unimposing store/deli is inviting and unpretentious.

    I was very impressed with the staff. Greetings from two people rang out as I walked in. The guy at the register was smiling and created a very good first impression. I wandered back to the deli section and the two guys in that department immediately offered assistance. I thought to myself - this is great management right here. You can get a decent sandwich anywhere. I want mine with a genuine smile!

    I mentioned I was driving back to Chicago, so the deli guy offered a de-constructed beef bomber. Nice idea! I was able to heat and make two sandwiches once I got home from my one bomber. No soggy buns for me! He asked if I wanted cheese, peppers or a pickle to add to my experience. The other guy who was assisting, suggested the salted caramel apple salad. Way to up-sell! I had it for dessert after my bomber and I LOVED that salad sooo much! The tiny caramel balls melt in your mouth. It was the first thing I thought of this morning. Yes it was my breakfast!

    There is a small parking lot in back of the store and easy street parking. If you aren't going home or back to your office, you can enjoy your lunch out on the outdoor patio.

    I highly recommend Mac's for take out hot and cold sandwiches, homemade salads or the famous homemade ice cream bars. If you need something from the market or catering for a party, this is the place! I wish I lived back in Kenosha, so I could be a Mac's Deli & Catering regular!

    I could not have worked with a better caterer for my wedding reception. Chris I believe her name is helped me save money asked me how many guests I invited and worked with me or I would have ordered way to much food. The amount was perfect! The food was outstanding as always and my guests loves it. Thank you  Also the pastrami sandwiches there are the best in the Midwest!

    This place is iconic in Kenosha, Wisconsin !
    If this is your first time get the hot beef sandwich with hot pepper cheese and hot giardiniera ! The owner Kris Osborne is an awesome Chef and very creative! Italian deli and catering! You will get honest fair pricing with awesome food no matter what you choose !

    Good food. Staff was very accomodating. Some more beef on the combo would have  been nice but everything tasted good.
